VERSES
This series started along with the Pitchfork Rap centered section called LEVELS. We knew that rappers could be extremely knowledgable about music and thought a series about their favorite verses would be a perfect direction to go in for the site. I helped create the look of VERSES along with director Jim Larson.
It was always a pleasure to have T-Pain in the office, one of the kindest guys in the game. For this project, I set up the studio, lighting, and camera, shot on a Sony FS5, captured audio, edited the piece, directed the motion graphics, and created social media cut downs to be posted on all of Pitchfork’s channels.
